From the 11th September 2023, eligible people in Cheshire and Merseyside have been able to access a COVID-19 vaccine, in line with the latest expert guidance on the new COVID-19 variant.
The announcement to bring forward the COVID-19 and flu vaccination programmes follows an announcement on the risks presented by the new BA.2.86 variant and pre-emptive measures the NHS was asked to take.
Eligible people should wait to receive an invite from their local provider.
