St Helens Council has won an award for their ‘Whole-Council Approach to Tackling Health Inequalities’ at the prestigious MJ Achievement Awards ceremony last Friday in London.
A spokesperson for St Helens Council said:
“We’re delighted to have won this fantastic award recognising our work on tackling health inequalities – thank you to the amazing communities we work with and people dedicating their time to this vitally important issue.”.
The award, which was sponsored by the Health Foundation, was received by a number of overjoyed St Helens colleagues on the night, including Ruth du Plessis, the area’s Director of Public Health.
