Good health is vital for a prosperity of the communities we live in. Improvements in life expectancy stalled in the decade before the pandemic and there are wide inequalities in health within and between local areas in England.
The work on population health to reduce health inequalities will be a cornerstone of new ways of working through Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) and the ability of the workforce to contribute to new ways of working in the new system and to feel confident in their skills and abilities to carry out their duties through existing roles, new roles and transformed services is an aim of our programme in Health Education England.
Whether you are a current learner or whether you are already working in health and care, HEE would like to hear from you on how to best achieve education and training in health inequalities and population health. HEE would like to invite you to a virtual facilitated discovery workshop on Monday, 11 July 2022 between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm (including a lunch break).
