Domestic abuse & suicidality in the perinatal period: how common is it and how to prevent it?

Domestic abuse and suicidality are common in young women, including during the perinatal period. However there has been only recent recognition that domestic abuse may also be linked to suicide and in particular maternal suicides.

This event will explore how health professionals can identify and safely respond to domestic abuse both during the perinatal period and preconception.
