Three Cheshire and Merseyside Directors of Public Health (DPH) have been recognised with awards by the The Association Of Directors of Public Health (UK) (ADPH) and Health Service Journal (HSJ).
Congratulations to DPH Margret Jones of Sefton Borough Council and DPH Helen Bromley of Cheshire West and Chester, on winning awards at The Association Of Directors of Public Health (UK) Conference.
Margret, who is Champs Collaborative Lead on Reduction of Harm from Alcohol, won the CMO’s National Impact award supported by the CMOs of all four nations in the UK, recognising Margret’s impact since starting her DPH role.
Helen Bromley, who is Champs Collaborative lead on CPD, Workforce Wellbeing & Development and Health Protection, won the Partnership Award supported by the Faculty of Public Health and the Royal Society of Public Health. This award recognises Helen’s role in leading successful partnerships within the Cheshire and Merseyside public health sector.
Congratulations also to DPH Debbie Watson and the Living Well team at Warrington Borough Council for being highly commended at the Health Service Journal Awards. The commendation recognises Warrington Together Place Partners: Living Well in Warrington – a Local System Approach to Prevention and Early Intervention, in the Integrated Care Initiative of the Year category.
