This workshop follows on from an earlier event that introduced basic ideas around systems leadership, alongside speakers from across Cheshire and Merseyside, who brought their own reflections on using these approaches in practice.

This time, as well as having a recap on how systems leadership can help in our current environment, we will hear from colleagues in Public Health Wales about applying whole system approaches in their healthy weight strategy and evaluation methods. Dr Duncan Radley, of Leeds Beckett University, will also talk about system and ripple effect mapping, to help us identify and track the effect of system-wide work.

As before, the session will be facilitated by Debbie Sorkin, National Director of Systems Leadership at The Leadership Centre and will be chaired by Helen Bromley, Director of Public Health for Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Colleagues from across Cheshire and Merseyside’s public health community are invited to join.
