Special thanks to Kath O’Dwyer as she leaves her role as Lead Chief Executive for Health and Wellbeing

Directors of Public Health would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Kath O’Dwyer, Chief Executive of St Helens Council, for her leadership, expertise, and passion in her role as Liverpool City Region’s (LCR’s) Lead Chief Executive for Health and Wellbeing.

Kath has played a vital role in supporting LCR’s Directors of Public Health in ensuring that health and wellbeing is considered within all aspects of public life. During an incredibly difficult time for the local health and care system, Kath has supported colleagues on multiple occasions and helped communicate key messages to her fellow Chief Executives across the subregion.

The role of LCR’s Lead Chief Executive for Health and Wellbeing will now be taken up by Dwayne Johnson, Chief Executive of Sefton Council. Directors of Public Health are looking forward to working with Dwayne.
