Join the Senior Population Health Fellowship and spend two days a week putting your learning into practice working alongside Public health and/or population health teams in your area. People from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds, from all sectors of the health and care system (including those working with communities/VCFSE) are welcome to sign up for the fellowship, with support and guidance provided from professional mentors.
- Six Fellowships are available across the North West region.
- Fellowships will commence from September 2024, 2 days per week for 1 year.
This is a multi-professional development opportunity for people working in the North-West to develop skills in population health. The aim of the fellowship is to develop a network of people from a non-population health backgrounds to benefit place-based healthcare systems across the North West.
It is a one-year part-time programme at two days a week alongside your substantive post, which starts on Monday 9th September 2024. Fellows will work on a supervised population health project, which is focused on health inequalities and will be supported by a professional mentor.
Eligibility:
- Working in the North West of England in a contract that continues until September 2025
- Prior completion of master’s level Public Health/Population Health courses (2 or more master’s level CPD courses, diploma or masters in public health).
About this fellowship
- Fellows will be recruited by each of the 3 Integrated Care Systems (ICS) – Cheshire and Merseyside, Lancashire and South Cumbria and Greater Manchester.
- Fellows will be placed with a host organisation in their ICS – depending on location and project preference.
