The RightCare Stroke Toolkit was published in July 2022 to provide a focus on supporting local health systems to understand the priorities in stroke prevention, identification, acute care, and rehabilitation, as identified in the National Stroke Service Model.  The toolkit was developed by RightCare in consultation with clinical experts and people affected by stroke and is supported by the Stroke Association.

The webinar provides an overview of the Toolkit for commissioning managers and clinical leaders and staff who work within stroke care and have an interest in improvement.  Attendees will hear from guest speakers:

Dr Deborah Lowe, National Clinical Director for Stroke

Deb will discuss the links to the national priorities for long term stroke care, highlight the national challenges and the creation of integrated stroke services.

Dr David Hargroves, GIRFT Lead for Stroke

David will give a general introduction of the toolkit, purpose and how it can be used to improve stroke services.

Darrien Bold, National Digital Implementation Lead for Stroke

Darrien will present a case study of how the Toolkit has been used to support and improve imaging.
