Registrations are now open for the Collaborative’s Health Protection Programme. The course is being delivered in partnership with the UK Health Security Agency and the University of Liverpool and includes lectures, time for reading and personal reflection and an assessment on the final day.
The course covers the following:
- Key principles and practice of health protection
- Infection prevention and control
- Vaccines and immunisation
- Overview of some of the most common diseases encountered in relation to setting and risk groups
- Communication, resilience and wellbeing
The current cohort has 24 participants across Cheshire and Merseyside, Lancashire, and Cumbria, and onboarding for the June course has already begun with places filling up fast.
