This thought provoking and action focussed one day conference invites Public Health teams from across Local Authorities, NHS England, NHS Trusts, OHID and Integrated Care Systems to learn more about the national, regional, and local exemplar work and to shape and promote the work of the North West Public Health Anti Racism Collaborative.

The conference has four themes:

  • Public Health leadership to address anti racism and race health equity
  • Empowering racially minoritised communities
  • Applying a racial critical lens in public health – tools and practical applications and learning from best practice
  • Understanding data and taking action on intelligence.

This conference will include:

  • National and local keynote speeches
  • Panel Q&A
  • Workshops to expand your knowledge
  • Opportunity to submit an impactful research abstract, with potential to present at the conference

We will be running a poster competition to platform research or projects with a focus on anti-racism, health equity and public health. Presentation submissions are invited in a 250-word summary and we encourage all authors to consider submitting. Click here to find out more.

Registration for the event will be split into two phases:

  • Phase 1: 22nd January – 7th March 2025 will consist of conference registration via a MS Form. This is to ensure equity of opportunity for organisations to field delegates to the event.
  • Phase 2: 8th March 2025 – 13th May 2025 will consist of conference registration on EventBrite.
