The NHS Leadership Academy are offering three new developmental workshops and a suite of online resources providing flexible learning and connection opportunities for leadership colleagues working across public health.

28th June 2023 | 10am – 3pm | Virtual
This workshop will aim to identify how Imposter Phenomenon (IP) is impacting you and explore ways you can move beyond limiting ‘imposter’ thoughts, beliefs, and feelings using practical tools and techniques.
Delegates will learn what IP really is and what it isn’t, and how it differs from confidence; the 5 stages of IP and how it applies to you; and will take back a development plan to support you in the workplace
Understanding Your Leadership Style
20th July 2023 | 1pm – 4pm | Virtual
This course explores different leadership styles and what that means in terms of behaviours and how to be adaptable and shift styles to fit the need. In this workshop you will gain an understanding of different leadership styles, examining your own natural style of leadership and how to be flexible in your approach. You will explore situational leadership theory and practice coaching techniques to support effective leadership and development of others.
14th September 2023 | 9.30am – 1pm | Virtual
The purpose of this session is to explore how to work with complex relationships within teams and across organisations. Focus upon exploring ways to lead change that are both effective and compassionate, covering: Strategies and models for influencing others, both within and outside organisation. Experiential exercise to practice influencing strategies and styles. Application of Learning. Relationship mapping; developing strategies to build networks of influence, applying to specific real issues.
