MECC is essential to promoting population health, supporting the All Together Fairer agenda, reducing health inequalities highlighted in Core20PLUS5 and the emerging health and care partnership strategies.
The session will include a presentation by Dr Rory McGill who is a Consultant in Public Health for Sefton Council and chair of the NW Behavioural Science and Public Health network. There will also be an update on the MECC resources and toolkit including the relaunching the MECC moments website for Cheshire and Merseyside, plus time dedicated to sharing knowledge, professionals lived experience and questions.
This event is aimed at those who are responsible for Making Every Contact Count, though we would welcome thoughts and input from core and wider public health workforce who work directly with the residents of Cheshire and Merseyside including private and third sector organisations and VCSE.
