This key annual public health conference brings together leaders, practitioners and partners to explore how we can achieve better health for all.
This year’s programme will feature a range of sessions on key public health themes, from prevention and early intervention to tackling the wider determinants of health and neighbourhoods. Delegates will hear the latest thinking from national leaders and gain valuable learning from those delivering innovative approaches on the ground.
Over 15 virtual sessions across three days, participants will have the chance to engage with a stellar line-up of speakers, share good practice, and discuss the issues that matter most to their communities. This is a unique opportunity for the public health community to come together, take stock and plan for the future.
This conference is delivered by the Local Government Association (LGA) in partnership with the Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH). Each day runs from 9.30am-4.15pm

Professor Matthew Ashton, Director of Public Health, Liverpool City Council and Champs lead on Strategic Intelligence & Partnerships, Employment & Skills, Communications and Workforce & CPD, LCR Violence Reduction Unit will present on the Tuesday (24th Feb) of the event.
Prof. Ashton will be part of the conversation titled; Health beyond the NHS: putting local government and public health at the heart of neighbourhood health at 9:35am.
Our executive board chair and All Together Fairer lead Professor Ian Ashworth, Director of Population Health for NHS Cheshire and Merseyside, will also speak at the event on the Wednesday (25th Feb), covering the topic of English devolution and health inequalities.
