Latest key messages from the Collaborative’s programme boards

The Collaborative is led by the nine Directors of Public Health in Cheshire and Merseyside and our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of the 2.7 million people we serve.

With this in mind, we will be sharing the key messages from each of the Cheshire and Merseyside Programme Boards every month in Collaborate. This is intended to keep colleagues across the subregion updated with the latest information.

Cheshire & Merseyside Population Health Workforce Development Board – Wednesday 8th February 2023

  1. Steve Peters presented to the group. Steve Peters thanked Laura Clark for her amazing job with the Metrix information.
  2. Q4 closure of the programme – Q4 priorities are now in hand.
  3. Training Needs analysis now complete. Data from Nick now received, and working with Nick re: video podcasts, final edit with comms. Making sure quality is up to speed.
  4. 7.2.23 research hub – “Demystifying research in public health “– 106 attendees.  Completing evaluation and mention programme sustainability, processes in place working with colleagues in ICB to make sure MECC is fully handed over. Comms team in Champs will support MECC moments website.
