Drink Free Days campaign relaunches for Alcohol Awareness Week

Ahead of Alcohol Awareness Week 6th July – 12th July, Champs Public Health Collaborative are launching the next burst of the Drink Free Days campaign, encouraging residents across Cheshire and Merseyside to take simple, positive steps to reduce their alcohol intake.

Following the first phase of this campaign earlier this year, this new three‑week burst which will run from 30th June–20th July will focus on the Alcohol Awareness Week theme ‘Alcohol and Me’ while continuing to promote the free NHS Drink Free Days app. The app encourages users choose their alcohol‑free days, track progress and stay motivated with personalised tips, reminders and milestone celebrations,

To support this campaign during Alcohol Awareness Week and beyond, promotional materials are available to download and share here. The toolkit includes:

  • A3 poster
  • Roller banner
  • Business cards
  • ‘How to use’ PowerPoint
  • Digital banner
  • Email signature
  • Digital ads for Google, Instagram and Facebook with updated copy
  • Digital animation ideal for community and GP waiting rooms etc

Partners and organisations across the region are encouraged to download, use and share these assets widely to help raise awareness and encourage more residents to start their Drink Free Days.
