The Collaborative have launched a new digital campaign encouraging routine and manual workers across Cheshire and Merseyside to stop smoking.
People in routine and manual occupations, such as construction, retail and logistics are more likely to smoke than the general population. Often facing long hours, physical tasks and shift work, breaking the habit can also be a challenge for this group.
This new campaign is designed to resonate with this group, featuring content they can relate to and offering tailored support to help them quit.
The campaign will run across digital channels including Facebook, Instagram and Youtube for four weeks, driving people towards our website and local services for support. We have also created a comprehensive toolkit to enable our partners to get involved.
In addition, we are also preparing to launch a targeted intervention for this group, which will involve partnering with local businesses to offer on-site as well as virtual support.
