As part of a project on the Commercial Determinants of Health (CDOH) funded by The Health Foundation, The Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH) are hosting a two-part webinar series exploring how to communicate CDOH to different audiences.
The first webinar on ‘How to talk about CDOH to build support for action with elected members’ will take place on 27th September 2024 (10:00-13:00).
During this session, elected members from across the four nations will share their insights on CDOH, what convinced them of its importance, and how these conversations can be effectively facilitated.
‘How to talk about CDOH to build support for action with local businesses’ will take place on 29th October (14:00-16:00). This session will feature a conversation between a Business Improvement District leader and their local DPH, discussing what persuaded them of CDOH’s importance and how similar dialogues and partnerships can be established.
Both webinars will also feature a session by Frameworks UK. The ADPH recommend that, where possible, participants attend both webinars, as these sessions are designed to be sequential.
