Bringing Together a Community to Enable Conversations, Connections, Collaboration for Driving Positive CHANGE
The Centre for Population Health will be holding their first ever conference in Bradford on 27th November 2024.
This will bring together health, social care and community leaders from across UK who are interested in population health and equity to share ideas, examples of good practice, and start to plan practical steps that we can all take to keep driving action for prevention, improving quality and safety, tackling inequalities, and most importantly for putting communities and staff at the heart of change efforts.
The event is purposefully being held in Bradford, West Yorkshire in North England, which is an area known for its commitment to tackling health inequalities and to its local communities. A community venue is being used to promote the still relatively under-recognised and immense power of local organisations as experts, change leaders and key partners. The conference is giving opportunities for community organisations and under-represented groups to promote their work and thinking. It will focus on what unlocking improvements really means, learning from and building on existing efforts, and create steps moving forward.
Help to accelerate efforts for improving health and tackling health inequalities in practice. Whatever your sector, role or organisation – you have
an important part to play in driving improvements.
