Applications are now open for Cohort 8 of the Aspiring Public Health Leaders Programme (formerly the Aspiring Directors of Public Health Programme).
This programme has been delivered to over 180 participants over seven years and is designed to support senior leaders in public health, and other roles focused on delivering better health and wellbeing for populations, to find, make, and take up their roles and authority more effectively in their local systems.
The name was changed to better reflect the broad range of senior public health roles. Otherwise, the content and aims of the programme remain the same.
Key dates:
- Application deadline: 12pm, Friday 1 August 2025
- Notification of application outcomes: By mid-October 2025
- Programme start date (Module 1): 13 November 2025
