Health Improvement Practitioner (Temporary)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a enthusiastic and motivated full-time Health Improvement Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary Public Health Team at the council. If you can develop good standards of professional practice, are committed to furthering your learning and development, and open to facing new challenges, you will enjoy working in the team.  

The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of different health promotion techniques as well as tools to monitor and evaluate them. The post holder will use their knowledge and experience of health and wellbeing improvement to support a range of projects initiatives across Cheshire West and Chester council, working closely with our partners.  

You will also understand how national and local health improvement strategies relate to this post; be familiar with a project management approach; and have high level of organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to encourage and influence others.
