Following the MECC Partnership Board meeting on Monday 11th March you can read the key messages below:
- Chairs - Dave Sweeney, Head of Transformation HCP, and Charlotte Simpson, Healthcare Public Health Consultant, Public Health England North West, were welcomed as new co-chairs
- Framework - MECC strategic framework to be updated to reflect new opportunities and demonstrate strong outcomes
- Training - MECC face to face training programme has now been CPD accredited through the National CPD Accreditation Group and is being delivered
- Evaluation - New C&M draft evaluation guidance now developed to demonstrate impact
- Communications - The communications, engagement strategy and campaign are in development and the Board approved the aims and creative designs
- Organisational insight - Insight work led by PHE is identifying opportunities to strengthen approaches and barriers to implementation, which will inform future work
- Primary Care – A new programme of work is beginning with Primary Care Networks to co-produce an effective model
- NW Conference - C&M to host a regional Behavioral Science Conference on May 22nd and highlight progress in C&M
