The C&M NO MORE Suicide Partnership Board met on Wednesday 13th November at The Gateway in Warrington. You can read the key messages from the meeting below:

1. The Board noted good progress on delivering the NHSE programme including the scoping to establish the Lived Experience Network and training review

2. The Board received an intelligence update and were delighted to note a 10% reduction in the recently released 2018 figures for C&M, bucking the national trend

3. There was an update on the successful activities across C&M for World Suicide Prevention Day 2019 including a media focused event in partnership with the Samaritans

4. The Board received an update on the innovative Real Time Surveillance programme noting impressive actions to prevent deaths in public places

5. Caroline Clements from the University of Manchester presented research on self harm to help inform the new C&M programme
