Technology enabled living – Using digital technology to empower citizens to lead independent healthy lives
In the last few years, there has been a rapid development and adoption of technologies that change the way we live. Some of the technologies are on the horizon whilst others are already in our pockets, our homes, local surgeries and hospital; but many are not deployed systematically in order to achieve better outcomes and more efficient services.
In the light of the NHS Five Year Forward View and the Care Act there is a need to change how the health and social care system operates to maintain high levels of care. There are significant opportunities to embed technology to reduce demand, improve efficiencies and improve health outcomes.
This event aims to bring together key partners across Cheshire & Merseyside to connect with industry experts and discuss how digital technologies could be embedded into organisations to improve health and social care outcomes and reduce demand.
- To raise awareness and knowledge of the range of digital technologies available and explore the “art of the possible”
- Share best practice on technology already being used to improve health and social care
- Provide an opportunity for networking and meeting industry experts/viewing technology and informing the pipeline
Who should attend?
