This multi-professional conference is aimed at those who deal with mental health at the point of crisis – whatever perspective you manage to topic from, then this event is for you. Whether it is preventative assessment, physical or supportive care, from a service-user perspective or in terms of recovery you will take something from the day.

The ‘Them and Us’ conference is hosted by Edge Hill University  on behalf of a collaboration between:

  • North West Ambulance Service (NWAS)
  • University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)
  • Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU)
  • University of Cumbria
  • Edge Hill University

Set across campus buildings surrounding a relaxing lake, you will hear engaging and inspiring speakers on the themes of:

  • The Older Adult
  • Children and Young People
  • Workforce Care
  • Law, Ethics and Morals
  • Deliberate Self-Injury

Twenty-five speakers to choose from, supported and led by MIND Blue Light Champions and concluded with an afternoon Q&A with Frank Bruno (MBE) you can be assured that you will be engaged, enthused and entertained.
