Thursday, 8 February, 2018
Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, Jubilee Way, Orford, Warrington WA2 8HE (Jubilee Suite).
1:00pm to 3:45pm

This event is open to Sexual Health Providers only:  In November 2017, a workshop was held with commissioners to discuss the sexual health feasibility work and to start to explore collaboration between Local Authority Public Health, NHS England and Clinical Commissioning Group Commissioners. This workshop allowed the start of conversations and it is hoped that these will continue to identify opportunities for co-commissioning and pathway developments as Local Authorities progress towards re-commissioning their services in the future.

It is also as important to plan an engagement session with Sexual Health Service providers, to provide information given to Commissioners and to also hear directly from service providers about:

  • Their experiences of delivering sexual health services since 2013 for:

a) patients

b) as a provider of services

  • To consider what could be improved for patients and how this could be achieved?
  • To discuss what commissioners could consider when developing a Cheshire & Merseyside service specification for sexual health services and then local plans for recommissioning sexual health services in a Local Authority area or areas together?

This provider workshop will support the delivery of a workstream that focuses on the development of a Cheshire & Merseyside Service Specification for Sexual Health services.

The speaker presentations are available below:
